Bunch Engineering is very
pleased to announce the sale of our Moldflow® consulting and
simulation business to The Madison Group. Founded in 1993, The Madison Group has offered
consulting services for plastic failure analysis, design and optimization
as well as simulation of thermoset compression molding using its
proprietary software, Cadpress®.
Since our inception in 1987,
we have focused on maintaining the highest level of expertise and using the
most advanced technology available for thermoplastic and thermoset
injection molding simulation.
I’m especially pleased that The Madison Group will enhance this
technical expertise and will broaden this knowledge base. And they will offer many additional
capabilities with their considerable simulation competence and expertise in
the plastics industry.
In considering the
continuation of my consulting business it was important that the culture,
personal relationships and stability developed over the last 21 years would
be enhanced by a new team.
I’ve been reassured by our ongoing discussions and relationship that
these elements will be strengthened by The Madison Group.
The increased capability for
simulation of thermoplastic and thermoset molding will provide The Madison
Group’s and Bunch Engineering’s clients with enhanced solutions for their
processing, design and product failure problems. We are working closely together during this acquisition,
and will continue after the closing date in the third quarter of this year,
to ensure both a smooth transition and that projects continue with no
interruption.
